Making of a Clown

This grunge composition is about relieving people of their worldly frustrations, if only for a bit. Figuratively crack open their craniums, and release their virtual chains. Travel to different places, across the plains and into the cities, characterized here with a weather vane on the left and an aerial image on the right. Hone your craft while helping folks cope. Strip away all the noise.

It also suggests a fine line between happiness and sadness. Jesters and clowns have been around a long time. Laughter is a way of forgetting the problems of every day life, but it is only a temporary distraction. Making people feel better didn’t fix any problems, but psychologically, it helps to forget for a while, releasing life’s chains. The clown in the composition harkens back to the carnivals of the 1920s and 1930s.
